A Splashing Fun Time

These were taken from somewhere near 313 Somerset. I think it's called Discovery Walk. Lots of fun for the two kids!

Mid-Autumn walk in the park

Happy Mid-Autumn everyone! 中秋节快乐! Mid-Autumn days are happiest for kids, because they get to light up their nice lanterns and walk around in the park. So after an early dinner for everyone, we shuffled down to our neighbourhood park. The evening air was cool- we even had a brief scare as there were a few drops of rain just after we lit up Chunchun's yellow coloured lantern. Fortunately the rain went no further than that, and we made our way along the park path. Our walk in the park was followed by some playtime on the swings in the playground.

Choir Music Camp 2010!

We went to the Choir Music Camp which was held in Johor Bahru. Mama signed up for a conducting course while Papa signed up for vocal lessons which he hardly could attend. Here are some photos.

The journey there. It would have been very very difficult managing with our luggage and two children going there and getting back, without our choir-mates. (Thanks again! - if you are reading this).

We stopped by City Square for a break before going to the camp venue. Papa had some coffee at J.Co (before the rest of it was spilled onto the floor by Luixing).

The camp was held at New York Hotel.

Choir camp sure is tough... On the long afternoon sessions, the kids either took a break themselves..

.. or we had to find things to occupy them. Luixing in particular was very interested in browsing through this small notepad.

Our room was on the small-ish side.. but Chunchun was happy- she had a bed all to herself. We watched children's programs together on some days when Luixing had his afternoon nap in the room.

This photo shows Luixing seemingly posing (actually not) and has his small thumb tucked in his pocket.. actually not sure whether there was a pocket in the first place..

And the final choir presentation as the finale of the camp. We enjoyed this short and yet enriching camp.
